Volume, CPC & Competition
Check estimated monthly searches, CPC and competition for any keyword, with a search-page overlay panel while you browse.
150 Keyword Variations
One seed keyword becomes up to 150 variations — prefixes, suffixes and long-tail ideas you would never brainstorm alone.
Bulk Checker
Paste up to 200 keywords at once and get their numbers back in a single table, ready to sort and shortlist.
12-Month Trends
See whether a keyword is rising or fading with a 12-month trend graph before you build content around it.
Alphabet Expansion
Expand any seed from A to Z the way real users search — the classic trick for finding untouched long-tail keywords.
Top Pins Analysis
Study the pins already ranking for your keyword — titles, style and angles that Pinterest is rewarding right now.
Title & Description Generator
Generate 5 pin titles, 5 descriptions and board ideas for any keyword — written to be clicked and searched.
Tags Generator & Extractor
Create 10 targeted tags for your pin, or extract the tags from any pin URL to learn from what already works.
Projects & History
Save keywords into projects, keep your full research history, and share or import projects with your team.
Exports & Client Reports
Export to Excel, CSV or a branded PDF client report — research that looks professional when you send it.
Automatic Intent
Every keyword is automatically labelled by intent, so you know which ones are for browsing and which are for buying.
How it works

Shortlist winners, generate titles and tags, save them to a project — then export or send a client-ready report.
Who it is for
🤝 Honest data, clearly labelled
Pinterest does not publish official keyword search volumes — no tool can show you the “real” number. Our figures are estimates based on Google Ads data, always labelled “Est.”, so you can compare keywords fairly and plan with your eyes open. Trend data shows relative interest over time. We would rather show you an honest estimate than a fake exact number.
Questions, answered
Is the Pinterest Keyword Finder really free?
Yes. The extension is free to download and use, including volume checks through the Ranker Reach server. It is our way of giving back the tool we wished existed when we started Pinterest marketing.
Where does the volume data come from?
From Google Ads keyword data, returned through our server when you run a check. Pinterest itself publishes no official volumes, so figures are estimates — always labelled “Est.” in the tool.
Do I need an account or my own API keys?
No. The public version works out of the box — no sign-up and no API keys. (Advanced users can optionally connect their own data account in Settings.)
Is my research data private?
Yes — the extension is local-first. Your keywords, projects and history are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Only the keyword text of a volume check is sent to fetch its numbers. See our Privacy Policy.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera) that support Chrome extensions.
Can I use it for client work?
Absolutely — that is what the branded PDF client report is for. Agencies and freelancers use it to plan and present Pinterest strategies.
